In March 2026, miromatic took an important step toward the future:
On March 19, 2026, our new machine—the SMX Puma 3100 S from DN Solutions—was delivered. To make room for this modern machine, we first had to remove our Emco Turn 500, which we had been using for many years.
The delivery was a special event: The new machine was safely transported into our production facility using several trucks and a crane. A specialized team then spent several days assembling it, precisely aligning it, and commissioning it for us.
With the SMX Puma 3100 S, miromatic now has a high-performance turning and milling center that combines the functions of a lathe with those of a 5-axis milling machine. A total of seven machining axes are available, enabling highly flexible and efficient production.
Thanks to this technological advancement, both complex and conventional components can be fully manufactured on a single machine. Additional machining steps on other machines are largely eliminated, which significantly simplifies production processes and reduces lead times. The integrated tool magazine with 80 slots also ensures minimal setup times and high process reliability.
The significantly enlarged working area also opens up new possibilities: Workpieces with a diameter of up to 660 mm and a length of up to 1500 mm can now be processed without any problems.
Overall, this investment has significantly improved our manufacturing—in terms of efficiency, precision, and flexibility.
