Training location: Egg an der Günz Industrial clerks are involved in the organization and coordination of business processes in industrial and trade businesses. To ensure that industrial goods can be produced quickly and cost-effectively, they ensure, for example, that the appropriate production facilities, materials, personnel and storage capacities are available. They agree prices and deadlines with suppliers, receive incoming shipments, organize means of transport for the dispatch of finished goods and prepare the accompanying documents. Industrial mechanic (m/f/d)

Training location: Egg an der Günz

Tasks and activities compact Industrial mechanics organize and monitor production processes and ensure that machines and production systems are ready for operation. They build machines or entire production systems, install and network them and put them into operation. If their focus is on production technology, they set up machines, convert them and control production processes. The maintenance and repair of production facilities and technical systems is also part of their tasks. To do this, they select test equipment, determine the causes of faults and replace defective components or wearing parts, check bearings and tighten screws, for example. If necessary, they also manufacture spare parts themselves using CNC machines. They also hand over technical systems and products to customers and instruct them in their operation.

Training content
In the training company, trainees learn, for example:
  • how to assess material properties and select materials according to their use
  • ensure the operational readiness of machine tools and manufacture workpieces and components
  • use IT systems, data carriers or the Internet, e.g. information technology systems for order planning, processing and deadline tracking, in compliance with data protection regulations and company guidelines on the use of IT systems, data carriers or the Internet
  • which assistance, simulation, diagnostic or visualization systems are available and how they are used
  • how to inspect, maintain and service operating equipment
  • evaluate control technology documents and apply control technology
  • how to manufacture and customize components by combining different manufacturing processes
  • how the functionality of machines and systems is ensured by controlling, regulating and monitoring work movements
  • how to maintain, inspect and repair machines and systems
  • how to install and test electrical assemblies or components
  • how to eliminate faults in mechatronic systems and rectify software errors
  • how to apply operational quality assurance systems in their own area of work and select test procedures and test equipment

In addition, knowledge about topics such as rights and obligations during training, organization of the training company and environmental protection is taught throughout the training.

Further knowledge is acquired at vocational school:
  • in job-specific learning fields (e.g. installation and commissioning of control systems, production on numerically controlled machine tools)

Mechatronics engineer (m/f/d)

Training location: Egg an der Günz

Tasks and activities compact Mechatronics engineers build complex mechatronic systems, e.g. robots for industrial production, from mechanical, electrical and electronic assemblies and components. They test the individual components and assemble them into systems and plants. They put the finished systems into operation, program them or install the associated software. In doing so, they follow circuit diagrams and design drawings and check the systems carefully before handing them over to their customers. They also maintain and repair mechatronic systems.

Training content
In the training company, trainees learn, for example:
  • how to mark, label and inspect workpieces
  • sawing, forming and welding sheet metal, plates, pipes and profiles
  • Assembling withdrawable units, enclosures and switchgear assemblies
  • how to lay cables and wire assemblies and devices according to documents and samples
  • how to select methods and measuring devices, set up measuring equipment and test analog and digital signals as well as electrical characteristics
  • install and configure networks and bus systems
  • set up electrical and fluidic circuits and connect power supply equipment
  • how to enter or change control programs for mechatronic systems and create application programs for control systems
  • how to install protective devices, shielding, cladding and insulation and test the effectiveness of protective measures
  • use diagnostic systems, check control and monitoring equipment and set control parameters
  • how to eliminate faults in mechatronic systems and rectify software errors
  • how to commission mechatronic systems and carry out functional tests

In addition, knowledge about topics such as rights and obligations during training, organization of the training company and environmental protection is taught throughout the training.

Further knowledge is acquired at vocational school:
  • in job-specific learning fields (e.g. analyzing functional relationships in mechatronic systems, designing and creating mechatronic systems)

Warehouse logistics specialist or warehouse clerk (m/f/d)

Training location: Egg an der Günz Warehouse logistics specialists accept goods of all kinds and check their quantity and condition using the accompanying documents. They organize the unloading of goods, sort them and store them properly in previously planned locations. They ensure that the goods are stored under optimum conditions and regulate the temperature and humidity, for example. In the outgoing goods department, they plan delivery tours and determine the most favorable shipping method. They put together deliveries, pack the goods and prepare accompanying documents such as delivery bills or customs declarations. They also load trucks, containers or railroad wagons, operate forklift trucks and secure cargo to prevent it from shifting or leaking. In addition, warehouse logistics specialists optimize the internal flow of information and materials from procurement to sales. They investigate sources of goods, compare offers, order goods and arrange payment. Training content In the training company, trainees learn, for example:
  • how to check goods quantitatively and qualitatively, record input data and create error logs
  • how to check accompanying documents according to company specifications and for correctness and completeness, taking into account customs and dangerous goods regulations
  • which standards, dimensions, units of measure and weights must be observed
  • how to store goods in compliance with storage regulations
  • how to handle in particular dangerous goods, hazardous substances, customs goods, perishable goods, whilst taking into account markings and symbols
  • which transport packaging and filling materials should be selected with regard to the type of goods, mode of transport, environmental compatibility and cost-effectiveness
  • how to load and stow shipments according to the characteristics of the goods and means of transport
  • how to maintain the quality and value of goods during their storage period
  • how to create loading lists and loading plans in compliance with the loading regulations
  • how to process shipping and accompanying documents and comply with foreign trade regulations
  • how to ensure communication with upstream and downstream functional areas
